Family.... what a word .....
In it lays the entire being of a person.... isn't it?
Doesn't it give us the essence of our being... past present & to some extend the future? Ya,may be it does. After all it shapes up everything from the moment we come into being & does have a lot of control over our development, growth, future....
But does it not limit us? Does it not make us take decisions which our heart may not want to? Does it not coerce us towards what may not be our first or second or even third choice? Don't we have to consider the effect of the decision on family all the time before taking a step?
And still don't we all want to have a family to belong to, to share with, to hide behind..... A family to enfold us within?
Wonder how do people who don't have or can't remember their families cope with the void.........Are they really freer, or happier... to be alone? Are they freer to decide, happier to always have the option of living on their own terms ?
If we could choose to be born with or without a family.................... what would be the common choice?
